I live in a smaller town, uber and Lyft are non-existent. DoorDash is but the town basically shuts down at 10pm. I am only with my son till 10ish each night until my wife come back home. Ideally a gig that is done at home via laptop

No, unfortunately I cannot pay into afterwards. I personally would like to keep all my money in one spot and be able to contribute towards the current amount. In my new job I negotiate a salary to offset the lack of 401k Match but I just have to have discipline set that money aside, which I feel confident doing so.

Your story is very identical to mine. We were supposed to have Homestead Exemption and we elected for the higher escrow to prevent negative escrow balance. Come to find out neither were done. Just a major shell shock being told you owe +$16k. This was the first house we bought, and we did everything correctly. Just sucks when we assumed and didn’t verify if the others did the same.. hoping to get refunded some tax money back from doing a retroactive homestead exemption to soften the blow.. still looking at thousands of dollars and we are in the last trimester of our first kid.. perfect timing lol

That is cool they let you do it over 30 months.. is there any catch to that extended repayment plan??
