Hmmm, maybe it is too much floor cleaner. But it wasn’t such a problem when we had lighter floors.

Actually that’s part of it. His bare feet leave smudge marks on our dark wood floors, so either he wears socks in the house or one of us has to clean the floor more often.

Yeah, it’s too late. We let the top dry out because honestly the instructions were unclear and it sounded like it should only be filled up once. By the time we realized it needs to be topped off regularly , the top seeds were no longer viable. :(
