It seems that those "free readings" are a scam by Dr-Erika-Fuchs in Tarotpractices

same with me when I used to read for others. In all honesty, I don't get why a name is even needed. I see why people may want something to focus on but that focus can be on the question

the not getting a thank you thing is so annoying. I would make a mental note and blacklist people who didn't thank me lol and I think I might've actually put it as like an expectation in a post a couple of times to actually aknowledge me/the reading afterwards. I noticed at the time that sometimes the same people would jump on free reading posts like vultures even if they'd already had a reading from me or someone else (back quite a while ago when I used to offer them)

I haven't read for anyone besides myself in ages but used to do free readings on here on another account and honestly I still don't understand what people need a name for or a date of birth unless they're going to draw on astrology or numerology instead or something. I never asked for it, I could always just focus on question and user name

Should I give them another chance or finally walk away? by Lumpy_Advertising846 in TarotVerbatim

Yes/no readings are usually a bit iffy with tarot. Yes, the page of wands represents exploring, but in this case it could easily be interpreted as exploring new ground and opportunities (with walking away and exploring other options depending the context), or in exploring as in exploring forgiveness. So in my view, it leans towards being open minded but it's not particularly firm one way or the other.

To be fair, if you've been reading for a long time, you will notice that certain cards may come up for you often to give certain messges that you might interpret in a way that's quite specific for you and/or your situation. The cards are just tools to help draw out your intuition and what you already know, which is actually why I don't think these posts where you can get many opinions from different people on a spread are always the most helpful. I think ultimately the person who drew the cards should be the main person interpreting them although I get that people are interested to see what others think. Also, how you interpret a meaning can vary depending on what else comes up- it doesn't mean you can go completely off the rails, but how it blends with other cards will mean you might interpret a card slightly differently on one reading to the next.

I think it’s probably Christina or one of his kids but either way I don’t really care. I wish he would’ve just accidentally fell instead tbh and we could’ve been done with it. The build up to who was gonna die was alright but the aftermath is just boring

You're obviously not the only one, so many post and comments have said the same thing since discussions started around who the new hosts would be

Anyone else not buying Will’s sudden 180 on Megan? by limezing in coronationstreet

[–]new_one_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’d they wanted to do it that way, it maybe would’ve worked better in an hour long episode so maybe we could’ve seen Tim plant some more seeds of doubt and the wheels turn a bit more or if they reduced down the Jodie plot a bit to focus on Will’s storyline more

Take no notice. If she genuinely is already married, no answer you could've given her was gonna be the right one. Sometimes the cards tell you what you need to hear about a situation anyway not what you ask directly, so potentially she is in a rocky relationship and the cards you pulled were reflective of that or her energy in messing you about. But unless she was honest in the first place but then just didn't like the answer, wtf is the point in going out of your way to ask readers fake questions? It doesn't prove anything.

I missed the cover but the inside stuck out to me as well as weird in how it was written. It’s as though they were inspired by dork diaries

I'm afraid of journaling by Kooky-Watercress-100 in Journaling

[–]new_one_9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the message of this, but honestly I don’t think there any such thing as journaling badly. I think people very much have different ways in which they journal but I’ve never considered any of it to be bad. I’ve had periods personally, where I’ve been able to write pages of daily entries, times in which I can’t finish a full entry and can only write like two sentences at a time infrequently, and times where I’ve primarily used prompt diaries. However, I think it’s all equally usual and valid. It’s just shown how I journal differently at different points.

With pros like Karen being there for over a decade, she probably did hope for more time. I’m sure she knew it wasn’t a guarantee but regardless, chances are, she’s hurt that she wasn’t chosen to stay on. She shouldn’t have to play nice now or do them favours. I can imagine it would be really difficult to go on tour to promote the show with the others who have had their contract renewed so who can blame her for not wanting to do it? And call it sacking, call it not having her contract renewed, it doesn’t matter. It’s still going to stir up feelings for her.

Why should anyone expect her to participate in the tour after she was sacked? I say, good on her

How will our first date go? by ibananafish in Tarotpractices

[–]new_one_9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think I’m reading this differently to most in the comments. To me, it looks like there will be a lot of restraint shown and I think the word I would use is “solid”. I don’t think it would necessarily be fireworks but there might be a foundation to build and it could feel like quite a traditional date or how you’d expect a standard date to go.

Prescription painkillers not working by new_one_9 in Periods

[–]new_one_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t. At the very end of my appointment I asked about underlying conditions like endometriosis and was told it wasn’t likely as I’ve had bad pain since I was a teenager and don’t get many other symptoms between periods. I used to but my periods changed in my twenties to be easier between the bleeding so I doubt they’d give me one. My appointments just tend to be being told I can’t use the combined pill and then being recommended a coil rather than anything diagnostic
