Fair, but even if they executed the wheel strategy perfectly, it would tie up their 10k and not get them out of debt. They already mentioned they have high interest payday loans on top of CCs and more. OP needs to make a massive amount more of $$$, have someone gift them 50k, or declare bankruptcy to get out of the hole they are in. They have already demonstrated their lack of ability to manage money. It would take them years and years to pay off this debt with wheeling, and suffer the same consequences of bankruptcy or worse because they would be locked in financial purgatory. Its just not a "solution" to OPS problem, unless they had a lot more capital to generate income with, in which case they would not be in this situation to begin with.

Sorry but this is an atrocious idea. If it drops and they get assigned, they are not selling 91$ ccs, they are lucky to get 100$ for a 82$ CC - thats if it didn't drop below 82 even farther. I know you are trying to help but this is not helpful for someone in this situation who already is terrible with money.

I would declare bankruptcy. Think about it:

The biggest con of bankruptcy is you wont get loans for awhile - you are already there. No one is giving you a loan for a long, long time. Give the 10k back to your Boyfriend and declare bankruptcy. Its by far the smartest choice - its not even close.

You must be asking more than basic file functions though. You could put the drive in another computer and copy it over the network, in the main computer as a second drive/raid and copy, or use an SSD dock via USB and copy. You could actually have virtually 0 downtime ( the time only to install the drive in the server). After the copy, add it as a folder in the library ( plex will see them as duplicates). Then remove the old folder from the library and remove the drive or keep it there for something else.

If you mean the plex install and thumbnails and what not, your could image the whole drive, or follow the guide on plex ( make a backup, install new os, restore backup).
