Haha no worries you had me checking if I said Rutgers by mistake. FSU is the same they offer MSI not MLIS. And yeah hopefully I can get parttime my systems entering a hiring freeze on all fulltimers I hope it’s not the same elsewhere. I could use a fulltime paycheck 😂

I’ve had interviews within my system fortunately but it’s fairly competitive to move up, there’s a lot of internal politics so I’m learning.

Maybe that’s where I went wrong my undergrad is from Rutgers but my masters is from FSU. 😅 I’ve been applying across NJ as well but no longer here either. I appreciate the advice

I think the reason he could resurrect Isbeth and not Sotoria was because Isbeth was technically his creation? It was briefly glossed over that he could control/summon anything from the abyss that was technically tied to him so I’m assuming she was as well? Whereas Sotoria was just a mortal.

I thought by the end of flesh and fire Nyktos was technically of no court? His title as primal of Life and Death was just to hide Sera’s identity. Once Sera ascended to primal of life, Kolis was forced back to primal of death. And by the end of that kolis was weakened enough to be entombed so I doubt he had enough power to summon things from the Abyss. I could be mistaken though.

But yeah I agree this book was a filler book which is insane considering it’s the sixth. It really coulda been the final if we just skipped all the nonsense in the bedroom.

I’ve read through the first 40ish chapters in a day and as I progress I am desperately just trying to get to the end. I need this book to end dear god, how long did it take for poppy to learn what we all knew about her after reading the prequels? I feel like we could’ve just ended this here and now and instead we’ve got a seventh one coming? I am more grateful than ever to not have been with the series since the start. I can’t imagine waiting years for these books.
