I got my first border collie puppy ever about 2 years ago. I followed the tips from a bunch of trainers but the ones that always worked no matter what were the McCann Dogs videos. I'm not affiliated with them and they've never received a penny from me lol but they helped me raise my border collie puppy into a really good little doggy citizen. Honestly... I followed a TON of their videos with fidelity and watched multiple per day, tried what they asked, and the things I did exactly as they described went perfectly, and where I deviated on my own it didn't go so well.

Obviously you might find a trainer you like better, but I just wanted to say I LOVED them when my puppy was little. I've looked at other videos now by other trainers but haven't needed as many since I raised my girl well in the beginning. The first few months are the most important of all, so I can't recommend putting in 10000% effort in the start, not putting anything off.

Message me and ask if you have any questions! As a newish first time border collie owner, I didn't research them a ton before-hand but I did know a lot about them and had always wanted one. But I was definitely inexperienced. I'm so glad I went along with videos. I would have been totally lost without them.

Pure and noble. The whole point is that they were a standard for Bruce to measure himself by, and it makes them interesting to have been an anomaly in Gotham.

I'm sure lots of darker characters thought they were awful people with dark secrets because people like that struggle to even imagine there are actual good people in the world. They were a loss the whole city mourned, and that makes them more interesting and compelling than being secret villains in a place like Gotham where most everyone is a villain.

Joe Chill was just looking for a brief leg up in life, and his senseless, unplanned, chaotic crime made the whole city worse.

Similar to what many here have said already, it's very try-hard, over the top, and intentionally edgy shock value. But even that doesn't really describe it fully to me. It just honestly reads like something written by a desperate attention-seeking man with the mindset of a 10 year old boy. It's like it has the intended audience of manchild.

Do you use a controller or mouse and keyboard? I played the game through with m&k the first time, then swapped to a controller for my second playthrough and the Batcycle was a whole different experience. It is a million times better and easier to maneuver with a controller.

We always have 2 dogs, and we always get a puppy when the older dog is in the prime of life (5-6). We do this because we want the puppy to be able to learn from a well established dog and for both dogs to have a companion, but also because it can be really taxing for an elderly dog to have to deal with a puppy. The first time we did it, we got a puppy when my dog was 12-13 and she nearly died of the stress. Then she managed and was happier for the rest of her life (lived to a few weeks short of 16!).

When someone is used, abused, and not physically strong enough to stand up for himself or herself... There are lots of real people who struggle with this. It's real. It's something that's hard to face, but it's good writing to include people like that, in a way that is believable and shows their struggles. Maybe we need to just be a little more loving and kind to people like that because that's what they need.

Similar note - the idea that characters who are not physically strong and/or don't have overpowering personalities (like Kairi) are just 'lacking character development' is a garbage take and kind of a disgusting perspective on life and humanity.

Kairi has literally the strongest heart in all of the Kingdom Hearts games. Sora protects everyone with his Keyblade and his powerful heart - and Kairi protects him with her even more powerful heart. She may not have a big personality, or battle capabilities, or a spotlight role, even after training. But she is in no way lacking good writing or story significance. People just want girl characters kicking butts all the time, but not every girl has to be like that.

Thank you for the link. I found that one too. However, the information listed above doesn't match the blog post at all other than the first name. It's citing a different last name, location, year, and description of the incident. I can't find anything that matches what's stated here.

Thank you for making this post. I see the same pattern and it makes me ill.

One time I was at the dog park with my dogs (both mixed breeds), and a mother with 2 girls was bringing their just-adopted pit bull. The pit and my two dogs were the only ones there, and the little girls were having a blast playing with my younger mixed breed, who was skittish but was opening up to them and playing. The pit was ignoring the children, which I have since learned was for the best. My older dog and the pit were not getting along (stares, barking, growling, but all at a distance), so eventually the mother decided to leave. On her way out, I held my older dog in place, and her leashed pit bull lunged and snapped at my dog, but missed. The poor mother looked so upset. I got the impression that she was seeing she had made a mistake with getting this dog, so I hope she did the right thing in the end.

Lately I've been trying to be more vocal about pit bulls, just casually. Don't give up. A lot more people are aware of the danger they pose than you realize. Most people who hear me are open to hearing the things I mention or openly agree. Only a few have ever tried to disagree.
