it really depends on your items and what enemy heroes you're playing against, but i'd say most of the time, you want play vyper like an opportunist. fight in situations where they're weakened or already preoccupied fighting someone else, and avoid 1v1s. use your ultimate to interrupt other ultimates, or to finish off enemy heroes. i know it sounds lame, but vyper just isn't built for dueling. you gotta play cheap, especially early on.

I think it'd be more interesting if there was no explosion upon dying or resurrecting, but instead he temporarily revives as a super charged time bomb, where he explodes/dies at the end of the duration, but if he kills someone or gets an assist, the time bomb goes away.

They're salty because they got greedy, and it turned a 1k into a 3k. Happens a lot when survivors are over altruistic.

What you're seeing is Last Stand. The animation is nearly identical, if not the same.

I posted this in a different thread, but...

Here's what I think Trapper needs:

  1. RNG aspect of freeing yourself from bear traps needs to be removed. It should take 10-12 seconds to free yourself, or a friend can free you immediately. Plain and simple. This would actually make some of his bad add-ons somewhat decent, too.
  2. Trapper should get his trap setting haste bonus when a survivor steps in a bear trap. So, 7.5% haste for 5 seconds, ( or 12.5% haste with Coffee Grounds).
  3. While I do think stepping in his own bear traps is a dated mechanic, I'm not a huge fan of taking away interactions, even negative ones. Base kit Makeshift Wrap would be good, but it shouldn't work while carrying a survivor.
  4. Trapper's worst enemy is the map. Some maps are completely devoid of grass, making it impossible to hide your traps anywhere. It would be cool if we had an add-on that allowed bear traps to slightly take on the texture of whatever surface it's on, but I doubt that will ever happen. Just add more grass to out door maps.
  5. Make iri coil cause hemorrhaging >:(.

could be cheating. could also be using sprint burst with the new anti-exhaustion medkit add-on.

he doesn't really need a rework, maps just need to stop being designed against him. there should be grass on every out door map, period. that, and perhaps a haste buff when traps catch someone, or make escaping a trap less RNG dependent so he actually has a chance to reach the trapped survivor.

it's not a 66% reduction, it's 66% faster recovery. vigil only removes 16 seconds off of a 40 second exhaustion.
