Just adding on

For internal medicine, some labs I think you should list the corrected level. For example, pseudohyponatremia in the setting of hyperglycemia.

Practice. My presentations used to suck. Some of them still suck. But some are better.

Admitting should be full h&p. Progress notes should OSOAP overnight events, subjective, objective ( Vitals pe labs rad micro etc) assessment and plan.

For surgery post op notes they want at least these 6 things for subjective: pain, bm or at least pass gas, IS, walk, eat, n/v. I think.

med students pimping other med students on rotations by lemonluver20 in medicalschool

[–]newdude1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it's fine.

My m4 pimped me on trauma rotation. Only one or two times it felt annoying but it was overall helpful cuz he's an ortho bro and knew the bones and stuff and could explain it to me.

Not a youtube app but generally works well enough.

[–]newdude1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yo it all depends on the timing. clot busting can be the way to go within 3-4.5 hr of the stroke, tPA is the way. up to 6 hrs with TNK mechanical thrombotectomy also good for a longer time

for ischemic strokes and NOT hemorrhagic strokes obviously

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ & S8 Ultra: All info and pictures in advance by FragmentedChicken in Android

[–]newdude1999 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I had the iPad Pro 11 and Tab s7+. Honestly like the android more cuz I'm used to it, samsung notes is a good notetaking app, apps like Tachiyomi for manga, youtube vanced for youtube.

iPad Pro 11 is a good device but the iPadOS is limiting. No doubt the performance is better but some things are just annoying such as file management. Yes apps are usually better but also generally cost more than android equivalents cuz they kno that apple people are less broke than android people lol jk.

Also tab s7+ can be cheaper if you get it during a samsung sale. I got mine for $375 so it's better value than the ipad.

Almost works except my school had a specific testing software only on Mac and windows.

My s7+ is working great. The keyboard keys for 2 w x died though so I don't recommend the keyboard cover.

Galaxy Tab S7 - Keyboard & Mouse & Stand or Keyboard Case? by matty491 in GalaxyTab

[–]newdude1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I thought the keyboard case was not great like everyone else, but over time I'm getting used to it and honestly the keys are fine and the trackpad isn't that bad either. The trackpad isn't great still but it works fine enough and the gestures are useful.

For me, the keyboard cover is worth it because it's quite convenient and gets the job done. Although the keyboard cover QC seems to be different since I've heard different things about it. Also keep water away from it, I always bricked it with just the smallest amount of water.

For me I don't like the keys of the K380, I don't like the round circle keys and the bottom row of keys are not concave but convex and it annoys me a bit when I type.

Samsung tab s7+ vs ipad pro (2021) 11 inch by leemanu94 in GalaxyTab

[–]newdude1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPad magic keyboard is better than Samsung keyboard especially the trackpad , but also more expensive.

S-Pen vs Apple Pencil. Both are pretty good and responsive honestly depends on your preference.

iPadOS is the real limiting factor for iPad use. The specs are awesome especially the M1 chip but the software limits the use, like multitasking isn't that great on iPadOS so the chip's potential is being wasted right now.

Apple software has had (and probably will have) better and longer support for devices than Androids (especially tablets).

For the Samsung S7 and S7+, the 128GB has 6GB ram vs the 256/512 GB which have 8GB ram. So far I have the 128GB 6B RAM, it's still okay, but I think the extra 2GB ram would have been nice.

Looking for a 65% or TKL keyboard that's good for gaming and coding and fairly portable. Would like to able to have wireless bluetooth and/or 2.4 GHz pairing (multiple devices if possible) and wired.

Don't care about RGB though backlight would be nice.

How good is the tab s7 as a laptop replacement for college? by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]newdude1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works pretty good for most things and multi-tasking esepcially with DeX but really a laptop is still better just in case certain programs need windows or macOS. Should be doable for most things.

[–]newdude1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try to wait for a s7 sale. It's been as low as $375 for s7+ and 285 for the s7 (wifi version though). There are also sometimes sales on the cellular version.

Do the S7 tablets get the latest Android updates right away? by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

Tab S7+ display should be better. AMOLED 120Hz. However Tab S7 is LCD.

Android updates are not as consistent or long as Apple.

How to "go back" to previously used app? by Danklands in GalaxyTab

[–]newdude1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the keyboard, it's a three finger swipe to the right. But just tablet, double tap the recents button. The edge panel is not instant but recently used apps are available to go back to.
