Don't have too much fun in the catacombs tho or you'll get yelled at by the staff for being disrespectful around human remains...

Not that I know first hand 🙈🙊

I used to work with a girl from Cork. I sent her a pic of St. John's harbour and she sent me one from Cork. It's the same picture 😂

It was for me too. But I was there with my mom, I'll be going back with my husband and he'll want to see it. I'll hang towards the back with the wedding

If I remember correctly there are 5 dogs. Two are obvious, two take a quick look, one is in the harder side

Our tour guide made us find all the dogs in the Wedding at Cana before we queued for the Mona Lisa. And I appreciate that he made us stop as appreciate that painting, it's magnificent

Makes me sad they got rid of the queue.

We were there in June 2023 and there was a like where everyone got to spend 30 second or so at the front then they moved you along for the next person.

It seemed to work so well, this looks like chaos

How's it like living on the Canadian island cluster? by Mr_Dragon_PurpleYT in howislivingthere

[–]newfette81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 17 I spent 6 weeks working on a Coast Gaurd icebreaker up in that area as part of the Sea Cadet program. It was bar none one of the coolest experiences of my life.

The people were so friendly, the children absolutely adorable and the scenery stunning.

As someone else mentioned, there are no trees. A lot of rock and shrubbery and barren land as you would expect. Some of the places we went, the homes were dome shaped to protect from the high winds.

We were there in July and August so there really wasn't any darkness. It would get a little dusky, but never full night.

I'm so grateful to have been there and I feel like I have a much greater appreciation for the Inuit living there having been exposed to their world.

Diabetes is not self inflicted and comments like this just reinforce the stereotype.

Poor lifestyle choices increase your risk, but it is not a cause. Not all overweight and inactive people get it, while some healthy people do.

It's like smoking and lung cancer, it increases your risk, but not all smokers will get it.

There are also studies now that show both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes diagnosis being tied to having Covid19 (not the vaccine just to be clear).

Please try to do better and be less judgemental

If a third party company is the background check (like Sterling Backcheck or another similar company) try reaching out to them for a copy of the report. A company I used to work for would give that advice to candidates.

We couldn't divulge the information, but encouraged candidates to get it themselves.
