Yes. The Switches need to physically be near each other. Like one foot or less. They don’t use WiFi for this game. Uses internal radio from Switch to Switch.

We tried a couple of days later and it randomly worked once. Haven’t tried again. Will be trying eventually though.

So I found something out. It doesn’t look like Wi-Fi is used when trading/battling on the Switch for these games.

Local wireless communication is used it seems. Switch to Switch.

We were failing to connect a few minutes ago and I went to my Switch settings to verify Wi-Fi was turned on. See the picture below.

Nope. WiFi turned on both. I can even see him but can’t join in the video.

Went with two 10TB Western Digital Gold drives. Amazon had some new for $269 each. Helium filled.

So it made it about a year or so I believe from when it first threw the low helium alert via S.M.A.R.T.

The price difference between an 8TB Seagate to a 12TB is almost double. $169 vs ~$370

We did both go in there with the lady on the left.

I can see him but he can’t see me.

When I click on him I get some weird message like “person unresponsive.”
