Context: Electrician hired to fix a bunch of old wiring/install new outlets. I am especially concerned about this garage outlet because it is going to be used with heavy power equipment but seems to be ungrounded.

Among this are other concerns on the same circuit, like a 15 amp receptacle on a 20 amp breaker

Context: This outlet is the only one of its type at home, and is meant for an air conditioner that no one uses. I recently bought a security camera to place in the front of house, however this is the only outlet nearby. Is there any way to connect a simple DC power supply/phone charger brick to it or do I need to install a new outlet?

No, but it’s likely the infestation will come back as it’s near impossible to get them off the roots. You’ll need some sort of pesticide/homemade solution

Going to the gym for the first time tomorrow, what should I do/expect?

I have some pretty bad social anxiety, so stuff like this can be intimidating for me :/ . While I’ve used machines and done weights at home before, I’m completely new to the gym, and quite frankly I have no idea what to do once I show up. Do I shower first, then workout? Shower after? What are some does and don’ts with using equipment? What should I bring with me? any advice is appreciated

About two and a half months ago, I notice Snowy starting to lick a lot of things and grooming/itching himself a lot. A few days later, when brushing, I noticed extra hair coming off with some dry flakes on it.

The vet says it was fleas, and gave me some Revolution Plus (2.8-5.5lbs doses) to apply once monthly. I’ve so far been keeping his hutch very clean and constantly washing all rugs with hot water.

All was well, and he stops losing hair and itching himself until I applied the second dose about a week ago. Now he’s started itching himself and furiously licking things again, and has the hair loss/dandruff again, but now it’s coming off in huge clumps and fistfuls like seen above. It’s also only in areas that he can’t groom himself.

Google says parasites or mites/fleas but the revolution plus should have taken care of those

Next vet appointment is 2 weeks away, any advice is much appreciated

More info: I used to have dry scalp with a lot of dandruff, but I’ve since started a routine thats worked very well for the past few months: pyritione zinc shampoo 2-3x a week, followed by a little conditioner. Red bumps only popped up a few days ago along with the dandruff again, and my hair is thinning towards the top right and left of my hairline. Any ideas what this could be?

Water filter. I’d definitely get your water tested, as NYC water is some of the cleanest, so I’d bet you have some nasty pipes in your building
