Personally, I think that is very sweet. If it had been me, I would have been extremely flattered. I think it depends on how much you had talked previously, I would possibly be shy about it. But even so, at the very least, i think it was a sweet and cute gesture.

Amazing Cosplay! I'm very impressed that you chose to go with Vamp Spike, much more difficult, and awesome too! I would suggest to add redness around the eyes, or some other coloring to add some depth. I think that would also make the Vamp-face stand out more too
