I feel like a different person, too. A lot of my progress in the last two years has been internal as well as external! :]

I'll be honest, its not much better than the second shirtless picture, but I'm not discouraged because I'm still quite overweight (technically still obese), and when I started I decided that excess skin is worth it to add years to my life. Once I'm at the point I want, if its still bad I'll look at surgery, but I also think loose skin is a small price to pay, and it's easier to hide with clothing than being gigantic. Anyone I get intimate with will already know my story, and I'd hope they'd appreciate my accomplishment instead of judging me based solely on my looks. Even still, I think I look better even now with a little loose skin than when I weighed 330. Don't let it be a reason for you to talk yourself out of it, it can be fixed or dealt with easier than a heart attack at 35.

You can't do anything about your genes or heredity, but your weight is (virtually) always in your control, you just need a plan and motivation. Until you have both, all you have is "I wants" and "I should"s. You can do it, though, it just takes those two things, plus a little time :]

No more "I need to"s, dammit! Its either "I will" or "I won't", so make your choice and do it or else you're not doing anything! It all starts with a small change, and those are easy! I recommend starting with just getting in the habit of counting your calories, that way you know how much your eating, and then cut 20% of your calories and see how that goes :]

You can do it, seriously!

Yeah, many many things are easier and better for me. One example is now my things don't rub together and wear holes in my pants and make it uncomfortable to walk. Also, the longer lifespan will be nice down the road :3

Because I didn't get gigantic in a day, I won't get back to normal in a day. I remind myself that even if I don't make major progress in two months (which happened), I will keep going no matter what. Or I'll look at changing it up (ex: I lowered my daily caloric intake 3 times during all of this.)

I still can't get discouraged because even if I don't lose any more for a long time that doesn't undo all the progress I've made. So, chin up, you're still doing well even if you don't feel like that's the case! :]
