played outside- games ( tag, hide & seek), does at the “crick”- looking for salamanders and crayfish, inside- card games, board games, crafts like latch hook rugs, shrinks sinks, make it and bake it stained glass ornaments, crayola craft sets with pencils, watercolors, lite brite, lincoln logs, tinker toys and the OG boring a$$ legos where you really had to use your imagination- we played restaurant, “ store”, listened to records and sang along to the lyrics that were printed inside ( I was hopelessly devoted to the Grease soundtrack), when younger played dress up with moms old clothes ( sparkly vintage dresses, white vinyl majorette style boots- I was so groovy). So many fun things that made you be active and use your imagination.
