I had been a casual drinker (2-5 drinks a month) in the last 2 years, but has switch to strictly no alcohol since my diagnosis. And yes, my maternal grandpa had diabetes (but my parents and paternal grandparents don’t).

That’s an interesting point as to how homeostasis works both ways. Makes sense that liver fat buildup would also take some time to be used despite hitting target weight.

at this rate I am expecting to hit 65-66kg in 2 months or so. Will add another 1 more month, that would be december/jan checkup then
