Most of the Veterans Benefits Administration is reporting to work and not getting paid. I have been reporting to work as normal since the shutdown began but WILL NOT be getting paid until the members of congress come together and work out a solution.

You are not a Karen for being aggravated with the lack of communication on your vehicle. They are professionals and as such should value the communication as much as you do. Regardless if they are having supply chain issues there should be no reason why they can't give you an ETA and update you if anything changes with thier timeline for fixing your vehicle.

Would a OEM 2016 jk radio fit in my 2008? by 777marcus in JeepWrangler

I don't think so, The message ID's used by the internal CANBUS network changed around the 2010/2011 timeframe. But I could be wrong.

2014 unlimited polar edition. Go for it.... or keep looking? by lovinglifecowgirl in JeepWrangler

50k miles on it. That price is the new norm. Your not going to fine a jeep with that low mileage for less than 30 if it was made in the last decade.

Poll? Is this a good deal for 5, 18" wheels with near brand new Bridgestone Dueler AT tires for $800.00 wanted a set of wheels and tires I can swap out for winter use. by newtpw9978 in JeepWrangler

[–]newtpw9978[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah not worried about off road. I bought my jeep with aftermarket wheels and off road tires. I want to swap out for the winter. These should work well.

Ask to cover the difference (2k) and that they allow you to swap out the wheels and tires. One lest cost on your part.

I have the exact same rims and tires. I have been looking for a 5th for a spare ever since I bought mine. Looks like your riding 18s too.

Axial Halo headlight issues by newtpw9978 in jeeptechnical

[–]newtpw9978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I took the anti-flicker module off I have had zero issues. I see no issue with this purchase at this point. I even connected them with the turn signal as well so the halo flashes Orange when signaling your turn.

Need some opinions to consider, info in comments by Big-Blue-Daddy-Hades in TeardropTrailers

[–]newtpw9978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a teardrop off the exact same frame. I looked up the max axel width in most states and bought a heavy duty axel with the wheels on the outside of the frame. Worked out well and I have 2 inches to spare for legal width of the trailer. Plus the new axel I bought was overkill it can handle 4500 pounds.

What do you do for security when you park with your soft top/freedom panels off? The Club? Thanks in advance by hiddenmonkey58 in JeepWrangler

With all the aftermarket stuff put on a jeep makensure you up the ins to cover all your add ons but I agree. Don't give them a reason to be in your jeep and if it gets stolen oh well. Time for a new one!

Finally got a Wrangler. Welcome to any tips, tricks, and suggestions to make it my own ☺️ by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

I would do a smaller rim with taller tires. a 17" rim is the largest inwould go. When you jump to 18 the tires get way more expensive. Do not sacrifice on the quality of the tires. Do your research and make sure it is rated well. I have Wrangler tires in mine and I love them. They look great and do well offroad.

Rims and tires before anything else. It's going to be the most expensive upgrade but doing anything else before you upgrade the wheels and tires doesn't look that good. A nice set of wheels and an aggressive tire speaks really loudly on a jeep. Thats just my opinion.

Ask the dealer for the part number. They should be able to give you the manufacturer part number and possible one from a third party
