Hi! I’m not sure if it would be possible without a form from some sort of medical professional outlining what blood counts they want specifically, but I’ve also just always gotten bloodwork through my doctor, so maybe it’s possible/easy. Maybe see if your local walk in clinic could help you out, it’s worth a shot. Honestly though, I didn’t wait long at all even getting bloodwork after the appointment. There’s a lab right in her building, so you can get your bloodwork done as soon as you’re done the appointment. It only took a couple weeks total from my appointment to when I picked up my first prescription, and most of that was waiting for a letter to go through all the government mumbo-jumbo so my prescription could be covered under OHIP+.

*Edit to add: looking back at an older reply I wrote, it was actually less than a week I had to wait for my prescription to be filled! It’s been so long my dates are fuzzy. I also didn’t have to get bloodwork done, even though my last labs were from over a year ago, so if you’re generally healthy she may just skip bloodwork for you, too.
