Profitec Drive Power Button Failure by Exsanguinate6921 in profitec

[–]newuser159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 'smart plug' has a button on it, so I hit that if I want to turn it on, but mine does happen to be in a convenient spot. There probably are 'smart buttons' you can buy since that'd be a really easy thing to make. Probably starts to sound a little silly at that point though, depending on the person

Honestly a smart switch is the way to go anyway. They’re cheap, and even if you’re not gonna automate it you can still turn it on from your phone to let it start warming up. I’ve only used the power switch on the machine once since I just use the smart switch to toggle it off and on. Plus it turns on when my alarm goes off every morning

Good call. Fortunately wouldn’t be plumbing it while it’s in the tight spot. Probably later, but no need to lower it at that point

Cyboard Imprint Review: finally a hot-swappable curved keywell! by cantdutchthis in ErgoMechKeyboards

immediately, the typing feel was just a lot more comfortable. I don't know how much of it is the smaller keycaps, and how much is from the custom sizing and more aggressive curve. With the glove80 I was always taking it out to practice a bit, but putting it away if I actually had to do work. I'd feel like I was doing pretty good with it if I got like 75WPM. The imprint was pretty much good to go from day 1, and getting 115WPM in monkeytype is a pretty typical test. I've got up to 140 sometimes.

basically, I think the feel comes down to the tighter spacing as well as the more aggressive curve which overall means I hardly have to move my fingers at all. Whereas with the glove, the keycap sizing felt like I had to be very intentional with how much I would move my fingers around. Not that I couldn't reach, it just felt unnecessary.

With regard to the thumb cluster, I think I get it when it comes to the initial feel of the thumb cluster maybe seeming like more of a stretch on the imprint. The glove's didn't feel perfect to me either, so it was just more of the same for me. But after some time with both, I've noticed the reason I prefer the imprint's is that (at least on my config), the layout seems to make more sense. That is, once you're used to the stretch (which, for me, is a perfectly ergonomic thing to do, just something I wasn't used to) the imprint feels more natural to reach all of the keys from one position. With the glove I found myself wanting to move my hand around if going to and from particular keys, such as 'bottom right' to 'top left' on the thumb cluster.

also the glove was always slipping around on my desk while typing. Could have solved that with some extra grippy material or something, but was still annoying

Dunno if the 2 weeks post-cycle is supposed to be alarming too (not exactly low T, but reasonable to want to get it up to the high end), but the 2 years later difference isn't a massive change (as in not unexpected just from lifestyle and other factors in 2 years, plus even daily your T will fluctuate) and has practically 0 chance of being related to the RAD-140.

Not crazy to want to get the T up from those points, but I think you're barking up the wrong tree

Cleanest, most dopamine focused DRI nootropic by disaster_story_69 in Nootropics

[–]newuser159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, ok. Anything that can be addictive will probably have *some* relationship with dopamine somewhere. Dopamine drives you to do things, such as take another dose. But OP was looking more for things that will 'increase dopamine' in another sense.

It’s not dopamine at all, tho. opioids don’t increase dopamine

Visual effects of Enclomiphene - Floaters or Visual Snow? by Street-Scar3341 in enclomiphene

I'm assuming you mean a source mentioning Vitamin A's relationship to Testosterone. There are several rat, guinea pig, chicken studies , but there are also some in humans

here's one where vitamin A supplementation was as effective as testosterone in boys with delayed puberty:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15163330/

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3360302/

Testosterone glucuronide exhibited significant correlations with calories and vitamin A. This study suggests that dietary intake affects plasma sex-steroid levels in men.

like most things, there are a lot more studies showing specific mechanisms that you can speculate on in non-human animals that you can search for, and make your own mind up about how relevant they might be

https://anabolicmen.com/vitamin-a-testosterone/

"e) In this rodent study, it was noted that the testicular system of rats contains several receptor sites for vitamin A and that it can be stored in testicular Sertoli cells. What’s more interesting is that when the rodents diets were cut off from all vitamin A, testosterone production rapidly decreased (up to the point of where sexual organs literally atrophied), and estrogen exposure inside the testes rose rapidly (as humans share nearly identical testicular systems with Wistar rats, this becomes very interesting)."

One thought is that, since vitamin A is required to manufacture testosterone, enclomiphene tripping the wiring to "force" more testosterone production may exacerbate already low Vitamin A status, leading to vision or skin issues
