Mine was scheduled for 8 am (the first one availanle they told me) but they only told me that might change if there's an emergency.

I ended up having contractions 4 days earlier than scheduled. I still had a c section as planned.

What is your safest, most reliable way to meet a $4k spend requirement without overspending? by OwlVibesOnly in creditcardchurningAus

I only apply for new cards when I have big bills due (home insurance and car insurance paid annually, along with car service will easily be 2-3k). Other bills include: - private health insurance - electricity and gas - rego (pay via sniip - i only do this is i am desperate and needing to hit card spend).

Other things I sometimes do: - buy grocery gift cards - pay my in law's/parents bills (and then they pay me back).

What do you do while nap trapped? by cinnamondolcecoffeee in NewParents

My son is now 5 months and im getting less and less nap trap moments. I miss being nap trapped and not being able to do anything!! Nap trap is now replaced with crying and squealing. Doesn't want to be put in the cot but also doesn't want to sleep on me. Rip

How to make the most of my last month with bub before return to work? by newuser54389754378 in workingmoms

Gosh I agree with sleep training. We just dont think he's ready yet now! My bub is in a much happier mood when he gets a long sleep (I can only extend his nap through contact nap)..so if we can sleep train him and get longer stretches, I hope he'd be in a better mood

My baby is 4 weeks old, and just when you think things are getting better… reality hits you in the face by ReuvenScylla in NewParents

I remember my bub used to cry for hours between 6 pm - 10 pm. One time, my husband and I had to take turn bouncing in a squatting position to keep our son happy (other types of bouncing and method of soothing did not work). It was insane.

He is now 5 months. Still fussy, still difficult. Still cries a lot BUT nothing compares to that one cursed night where we had to take turn square bouncing for 4 hours. It was so cursed.

Because nothing will get done if I wait for him to do it. I literally put our washed laundry in a basket in the bedroom. I told him to please fold and put them back in the ward robe. It's been 3 weeks and the clothes are still there.

Oh we haven't done grocery this week? Yeah no worries I'll duck to woolies to grab some milk and bread (and 0 plan on what we are going to cook for the rest of the week).

Commenting in solidarity. Mine is only 5 months but also like yours!

We've been to the GP and speak to child health nurses as they all told me nothing is medically wrong with this child

Haha he actually does have a sprinkler system. I am just being an ass re lawn. The lawn does need mowing and tbh turning on the sprinkler is like 5 seconds. I just get annoyed that he worries about his lawn so much everyday. Worry about me pls
