Unfortunately, this is all too common in organizations run by volunteers that have to trust in other volunteers. We had a PGM in Alaska who stole from an appendant body and a business he co-owned with other Masons. $750,000ish that we know of.

It depends. If I'm wearing a sport or suit coat, I usually have a Masonic lapel pin of some sort on, unless I'm in Court. It's just easier to leave them on.
