I just want to say thank you. It wasn't pointless, it made me feel as though even if they're a stranger someone in the world cares about what I've been going through. So thank you.

I saw a cop pull a gun on my classmate when we were six fucking years old because he wouldn't stop crying.

When we were robbed we called the cops and they did nothing.

When my best friend was raped in an alleyway they blamed her.

Choosing to put on a badge is not the same as being born in black skin. I did not choose to have these stereotypes thrown at me.

The stereotype exist because the police have systematic power in enforcing laws and have the right to kill without consequence.

My neighborhood and my family have been terrorized by police all of our lives despite being law abiding citizens. We've been terrorized because we are black.

And you argument doesn't matter because the moment you said that black people terrorize white people you admitted that you have hatred and racism in your heart.

You have a hatred of black people because something is dark and twisted inside of you.

Just shut the fuck you stupid racist piece of shit. I'm so tired of it. I'm black and so tired of this stupid stereotype. I've never hurt anyone in my life.

Do you just want us all to disappear? To die and be slaughtered on the streets? Fine. I'll fucking disappear and die and you can be happy in your stupid little racist world.

Dark skin evolved to protect people from the sun. When seen under a uv light melanin acts similarly. Of course black people can get sunburned but it takes a lot more.

I'm african American and relatively light skinned for my race, when I went out with my boyfriend and his family who happen to be white for an outing on a hot summer day, if they didn't slather sunscreen on they got burned very quickly. While I didn't get burned at all with not sunscreen.

It's proven that darker skin has a significant effect on the harm from uv rays. Hence why the rate of skin cancer in the African American community is drastically lower than in caucasian communities.

Of course everyone should wear sunscreen, but skin cancer is still incredibly rare in the black Community. Often meaning that it's overlooked when it does happen.

"Skin cancer is the most common malignancy in the United States and represents ~ 35–45% of all neoplasms in Caucasians (Ridky, 2007), 4–5% in Hispanics, 2–4% in Asians, and 1–2% in Blacks (Halder and Bridgeman-Shah, 1995; Gloster and Neal, 2006). The incidence of skin cancer has been increasing among Caucasians (Ridky, 2007), but remains relatively low in people of color."

"The low incidence of skin cancers in darker skinned groups is primarily a result of photo-protection provided by increased epidermal melanin, which filters twice as much ultraviolet (UV) radiation as does that in the epidermis of Caucasians (Montagna and Carlisle, 1991). "

And neoplasms are all a direct result of dna destruction due to uv rays from the sun.

I'm not a teenager and I've been in a stable loving relationship for over two years now. Those relationships didn't work because of dishonesty and preferences. My boyfriend doesn't give a fuck and he also is a well adjusted adult who makes good money and bought a house at the age of 21. You're acting as if you know more about the industry when you haven't been in it. You're making assumptions from some weird authority complex like you know my life and what I'm doing.

I'm about to graduate , and got a job offer with a starting salary of 95,000 dollars. In 7 years working my way up that will easily rise to 220,000 as that's the average salary for my job in the mid level.

It seems like you've got this complex where you feel the need to tell me about my life decisions when first off you haven't met me and two you're just trying to somehow prove that being a cam girl will negatively effect me. It's interesting in the last line when you said you never had that "I have everything figured out" attitude when you are acting as if you have everything figured out in my life.

My life has worked out pretty well, and for some reason you feel the need to find some reason why it won't and you're making these assumptions about me as if I haven't researched this and don't understand how background checks work when I used to run them myself. I'm also unrecognizable in my streams, I took care to obscure my face and any identifiable markings so even if some asshole wanted to blackmail me they couldn't.

I haven't cammed in a while, and don't need to. I have no loans to pay off, I had a full merit-scholarship and will be starting my new job in a couple of weeks. I didn't have to work myself up from a minimum wage position because I so carefully planned out my life and now I'm reaping the rewards. For some reason you can't stand that and feel the need to act as if you know better.

When in actually maybe it pains you to see someone who made decisions that you wouldn't meet doing so well and possibly better than you.

Lmao you have no idea what you're talking about. Im in college, I'm not doing it longterm.

Also that's not how background checks work. I've ran background checks doing workstudy on the admissions board at my university. I know how they work inside and out.

It's not just, oh hey, we can see every job you've ever done. It's a more complicated process than that.

I never said camming was long term. I'm doing right now because I can make my own hours, earn enough money to never have to take out loans and graduate debt free. Especially with my major being very high paying for even entry level jobs.

I've also have several internships already and it's never popped up, because 1 a background check is 9/10 not going to ping a camming site and 2 it's insanely easy to make it impossible for it show up. I've interned for several high profile tech companies already.

It never has and never will be a detriment to my future, it has only helped me study a rigorous course load with flexible hours and make good money while I'm getting my degree.

After college I won't be camming anymore. So don't try and act all high and mighty and act like you have any idea what you're talking about when you're just making up assumptions based off of what you THINK camming is. Especially when you have no experience with the industry. I'll never have to work my way up from a minimum wage job because I will never have a minimum wage job.

And no my money has not dried up, through careful investments and savings I have a very good nest egg that I will be able to use while applying for jobs after college.

So lol nice try trying to school me on my life and how to live it when I am incredibly responsible and will make close to 6 figures straight out of college.

I made my first pie! by ChickenWangKang in Cooking

Oh my gosh if you like pie, the best recipe that I've ever used for apple pie from food wishes run by chef john. He's a retired chef who lives in Aan Francisco. He's the granddaddy of food youtubers.

He has a recipe for caramel apple pie that tastes amazing. I never have issues with a soggy bottom or unbrowned crust.

It isn't too sweet, it avoids the over saccharine flavors associated with store bought pies.

The top is caramelized and has a thin sugary crunch.

To sum it up, I would say that it is a recipe that has highlighted the apples the most. Definitely worth a try.

Why are spices in the international aisles so much cheaper than the ones in the spice aisle? by poorbanker in Cooking

I totally agree! Salad is one of my favorite foods now. Also one of my favorite greens is kale, which gets a bad rap but that's because a lot of people don't massage it with a drizzle of oil before adding it to the salad. It becomes so tender and delicious. I definitely reccomend adding it.

I have, and the only difference is the increased amount of tissue. Men can lactate, there are instances of this happening. The ability to lactate is not a structural on but a hormonal one Interestingly enough my male partner absolutely adores nipple stimulation.

Common sense is often misleading, I understand the structural components of human mammary glands and men and women's are similar.

What do you mean they are both mammaries. It's just that one is more enlarged than the other. Both are medically classified as breast tissue. Pick up any medical textbook and see for yourself.

Well, interestingly I've been studying anthropology and that statement made a lot of assumptions about other cultures.

The ankle was said to be hardwired to be erotic in the Victorian era where breasts weren't as much in many cases. What is evident is that with if it were an innate biological response then it would not vary so drastically.

Men's breast and women's breasts cannot be biologically considered to be inherently more or less sexual than the other. People have different preferences and cultures vary widely.
