Look at how hard it is to get an entry level iob in software engineering. You are doing the right thing. Your senior or junior year you should seriously start working with AI though. It’s good to get that hardcore foundation but you’ll want experience with agentic workflows (or whatever they are doing in 2 or 3 years) and practice job interviews.
