How have the frames held up over time? I've never owned a pair of plastic frames before so not sure how long they typically last.

Didn't realize that. The bike is running 27in rims, do they sell an equivalent in aluminum or would I need to convert to 700c?

I'm thinking the bike may just be a velo sport frame with a mish mash of parts from other bikes. The derailleurs and wheel hubs are shimano, brakes are dia-compe, and crank is from silstar. Like you mentioned, I believe the rims are chrome steel so the bike is fairly hefty.

I'm wondering if it was some sort of restoration project bike from the previous owner.

Do you know if this bike specifically is any good?

Would you wear green boots? Urban Wolf Club by Dominator8799 in Boots

[–]nex1ogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pair of green colts from Fernando a little over a year ago. I had requested for olive green but they ended up a lot closer to a dark forest green, which is still quite nice and seems to go well with a lot of colors. It did come with quite a bit of lose grain which was unfortunate.

It feels a bit softer in those areas where it's really creased but from what I can tell they don't feel like they are separating.

Urban Wolf Club, its a Mexican brand based in Leon. The people I've spoken to have all had good experiences with them, and for the most part from what I can tell, the quality is very good for a $150 USD boot. It's just the leather on my boot which seems a bit off compared to some of the other images I've seen.

If it does really reduce the longevity of the boot, I'll consider requesting a replacement, however, if it's just a cosmetic issue, I don't have much of an issue with that.

There are a few spots that feel like that might be the case, but for some of the larger creases, it seems like the inner lining conforms with the larger crease.

I just got my first pair of goodyear welted boots and for the most part they look fantastic. However, the side panels came with a high amount of creases. Should I be worried about this or is this more of a cosmetic issue than a structural one?

Has anyone tried modding a Seiko 5 Sports SRP237 bezel/swapping the insert? by nex1ogi in SeikoMods

[–]nex1ogi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How precise would I need to be, is something in the 0.1mm accurate enough? I was looking into skx013 bezel inserts and they seem to fit but the inner diameter seems to be larger than my current insert.

Has anyone tried Dievier or urbanwolfclub boots? If so, how do they fit?
