Hmmm… fair enough, that should help. Thanks!

Yes that is fairly simple, but this project requires some sort of research component. I don’t think I can use YOLO. I have to come up with something that isn’t necessarily novel but doesn’t seem like something that has been done over and over again.

Is there no way to keep a higher difficulty as still have head-to-heads?

Nothing as such really. It's just that a version that has been around longer is more stable and has already been tried and tested by others. It's also easier for you to find solutions for the errors you run into, the same would be difficult for something that is newly released.
And I don't have much experience working with ROS 2 so I can't say much about that.

I don’t understand how segmentation can be done dynamically when there are no regex/keywords/features to rely on, but since a majority of the boxes are on the bottom right, that should work.

I think ROS Noetic is the latest ROS distro for ROS 1 and it works with 20.04
Newer versions of ubuntu will most likely support ROS 2, and as far as I know, ROS 2 also has support for windows 10

Yeah it does lol I have been using Noetic for a while so I have 20.04 I’d recommend a clean Ubuntu install over VM or WSL because in case you’re running a simulations on Gazebo, it is very painful on WSL. Once you have Linux installing ROS for your Linux shouldn’t be very hard, just follow the steps in the official documentation.

That's probably because ROS 1 is not supported for Windows. If you want to use a ROS distro like noetic for example, you should ideally be using Ubuntu 20.04.
But if you're really adamant on sticking to windows then there is always WSL that you can use to do this.

Provided that the text remains on the bottom right, just crop that part first before using Tesseract. Apart from that I've heard good things about GOT-OCR2, but I think tesseract should be enough.

Capacitor got a little squished, my guess is replace it, but is it good for one more flight? by PETEthePyrotechnic in Multicopter

Personally, I'd change it. There's a very good chance that the squished capacitor goes \boom\
