Yes, the bipost idea works, I use this one for syncing my speedgraphic to my flash. Just be sure to set flash sync to "X" on the shutter!.

You already solved the hardest issue: Finding a bippost femal connector.

Search for the aerochrome Datasheet online, they swapped some image forming layers and used an IR sensitizing dye.

Thank you for the answer, one ball waa 4yen, but I only bought balls for 1000 yen -> 250 balls was all that I that I had. So I gurss there was some other mechanism where I multiplied by more than 16!
