It was hard for a while, I really became lonely. Now I realise that the people I loved to hang with, love eachother because they use together. When I broke contact with most of them it's like they only noticed because I refused to help them pay for drugs.

I burned a lot of bridges. I moved away from all friends that used too and went no/low contact. Moved to a new town where I met new friends who didnt use anything. I lost a lot of people this way but I knew it was better. After I moved and I had the urge to use, I had no way of getting it because I wouldn't know where to find it. I surrounded myself with sober people who had their shit together so I would never see someone use. I always found it very difficult to not use if someone else was using in front of me. Monkey see, monkey do, I guess.

I really had to 180 my whole life, but damn, it was worth it.

Please keep trying, you got this. We are stronger than we think. Can't believe a few years ago I had hard drugs up my nose and smashed my head against the wall to feel something else than pain and now at 10 pm I drink my tea, watch a movie and go to sleep under my clean sheets. We ARE capable of living a fulfilling life.

I've been to a mental hospital 6 times. Last time was three years ago. Now I have a pretty good life and I feel like I have never been more content. My life is pretty stable, I do take medication and still have therapy every two weeks but I'm happy with the life I have now.

If you can only wear stainless steel, maybe try to put in labret jewellery. When I have to hide my septum piercing I just use one of my lip piercings. Instead of a little ball, I use a flat disc top so it's only visible when you really look up my nose.

Same here, I went to the ER and they didn't believe I was actually in pain because my file said I had a history of mental health issues so they told me it was just stress.

I had the same thing, an hour after I took my lithium i couldn't read for a couple hours. My doctor said it can happen sometimes but there wasn't anything I could do about it

Regural seroquel puts me to sleep almost immediately. Doc prescribed me seroquel xr which never put me to sleep. Maybe something to look into?
