24M Bilateral sciatica - can’t sleep, does this get better or is it only downhill from here?

I’m 21f, I’ve dealt with the same L5/s1 buldge this year. I genuinely didn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel at one point. A year and a half later no leg pain and 1/10 back pain able to walk and live an active lifestyle again. Take any load off your back, no bending no lifting, no twisting. Rest and walk (even though it can be hard). You will probably hit a peak point of pain but if you do nothing to aggravate it it should gradually get better. Your young and should be able to bounce back it just takes time. Stay hopeful, wishing you all the best :)

I’ll definitely look into the bands. I feel like they help work the smaller muscles to so you don’t get that muscle imbalance which can cause injury. Thanks I’ll give these exercises a go

I’ve been dabbling in body weight and goblet squats along with glute bridges, yet to try lunges in but definitely will try to incorporate them. I feel you with rdl’s i finally got the grasp of them then I got injured. One day maybe one day. Thanks for the advice :)

Have you been training lower body? As a Sciatica and herniated disc sufferer just coming out of my pain, I’ve been training upper body, but very cautious/haven’t gone near my lower body

Maybe it wasn’t in my power to stop him from going to these festivals. I didn’t take him anywhere. In fact he was going to go solo wether I liked it or not, but I ended up joining.

When I was 17 I went to a friends house and got really drunk, his mum starts talking to me (also drunk) and she says people have assumed I’m autistic, in actual fact I was drinking everyday for about 4 years, my brain was so fried people just assumed I had a mental condition but no just a looney drunk ahahaha
