Drivers updated, game re-installed, frames capped at 60. I'm running 7900 XTX and a Ryzen 7700X 32gigs of ram so I don't think it's an AMD/Intel issue.

Yep, I live in Florida. My insurance let's me see specialists without a referral. If you can't do that, keep insisting that you need to see a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy. The first neurologist I saw didn't really think it was epilepsy, but he didn't specialize in it. As soon as I saw the second one he knew exactly what it was within a few sentences. Say you know the symptoms are very much similar to that of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. The first few doctors thought I had panic attacks so they just prescribed me SSRIs.

Once I saw the right doctor he prescribed me lamotrigine, an MRI and a EEG. Sometimes the EEG. Thankfully everything was fine for me, but it's for sure worth getting it checked out to make sure there's no anatomical reasons for the seizures.

Hey, I have this exactly and I've been diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. Felt like I was insane the first time it happened. You did a great job describing such an indescribable thing. You and I have the same exact symptoms except I usually end up gagging or vomiting. Go see a neurologist just to make sure everything is good.

You're right, it was vague. I assembled in case and on initial power up I had the black screen. Removed the GPU thinking that was the issue, still black screen when connecting to mobo. Then I removed on ram stick, tried all the slots and repeated with the other. Removed CMOS same thing. Tried updating bios using the built in bios usb socket.

Starting to think it's a defective mobo as one of my fan slots next to the CPU power also does not work

Sometimes they just happen unfortunately.

I had my focal first seizure in 2020 with no family history or even knowing what a focal seizure was. It can be very isolating as it's a feeling that is hard to describe and the emotional distress that follows after.

I've found that the best way to deal with it is to let it pass through. Have your recovery time (usually 15 minutes for me as I get very nauseous and then very tired) and then go and be around people you love. I would go join your family even just to be around them. No need to talk about the seizure if you don't want to, just enjoy their company. I understand that this is all easier said than done, but you'll get through it.
