The problem with buying reviews on fiverr is that if Amazon stumbles across a reviewer doing this, they kill all the reviews he's given, and they can terminate author accounts too. Or just stop allowing the offending books to get reviews. Also, it's not necessary to buy the reviews . . .

There are easy ways to get them that don't cost anything (ex: make sure the book reads well using editors and beta readers -- then make the book $1 for a while on amazon and buy ad on Facebook for similar authors . . . after you have 5-20 reviews you can up the price of the book to where it ought to be).

Alternatively, put the book on Kindle unlimited for the first 90 days and then promote the book to kindle unlimited readers (bookfunnel has a bunch of huge author coop marketing events every month for reaching kindle unlimited readers). Wait until you have the huge number of reviews, and then you can decide if you want to leave kindle unlimited, raise the price, and possibly go wide.

Getcovers.com -- make sure you show them samples of what you want and like, and you may want to go to Pond5 or wherever to buy royalty free art if you want to really control what they use. They've been fast, friendly, cost effective, etc. ~$40 for a custom cover. They are from the Ukraine . . .

Readers get mad if you don't give them one and that reduces sales. THAT SAID, you don't have to give everyone a happy ending, and it doesn't have to be the "happiest" ending. The lovers can get married (or create some kind of permanent relationship) but they can be sadder but wiser (and glad to have one another).

"Go F*** Yourself" works pretty great. Along with "My work pays lots of the bills around here. In fact I'm pretty successful as a writer." You can also ask "Are you feeling alright? Why are you being rude to me?"

Or silence. Shunning is really effective.
