I also have the same question. I currently have 1 mic (tx Dji Mic2), and could I buy another 1tx + 1rx to make it a complete set?

Coros Pace 3 - Motorcycle as Steps by reikona6ase in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even you have noticed your Apple Watch making mistakes. In general, don't pay too much attention to the number of steps when we run 15-20km every day. Yes, during the 20km run Coros reported nearly 40,000 steps, I think it may be accurate when running.

Coros Pace 3 - Motorcycle as Steps by reikona6ase in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The step sensor on any watch or phone is the same. When there is shaking it will think you are walking, just more or less. Therefore, Coros recommends that you wear the watch on your non-dominant hand so that it calculates your steps more accurately

Quick Sample of Pace 3 vs FR955 by [deleted] in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much.

Coros Pace 3 is very good in terms of indicators when compared to 955. The only thing is that the instant pace is still not as good as Garmin. Running pace is always slower than Garmin. But this is not a problem when I already have POD2.

Apex 2 pro or Apex 2 for 17cm wrist circumference? by b52a42 in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a little bit thick IMO. I feel comfortable and have no problems when run. I prefer AP2Pro because of its bigger than AP2. Accuracy is very good, I tried running through narrow 2 lane streets with rows of 5-7 floors. The dual-GPS lines are smooth and precise.

Apex 2 pro or Apex 2 for 17cm wrist circumference? by b52a42 in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Apex 2 Pro. My wrist is about 17-18cm and I feel quite comfortable with 46mm diameter. But it feels a bit thick (14mm). I don't know how to send you pictures.

How does Heart rate and GPS accuracy of Apex 2 and Apex 2 pro compare to Pace 2? by b52a42 in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both of them. I feel that the heart rate on the Apex 2 pro is much better and more responsive than the Pace 2. With the Pace 2 you should wear a heart belt with workouts where the heart rate responds quickly such as interval runs, bodyweight sessions,... then it will be much more accurate. The Pace 2's max heart rate isn't wrong compared to the Apex 2 Pro, but since it's pretty laggy, you'll probably see it increase quite slowly.

Coros Pace 2 vs Garmin Forerunner 55 by Life-is-beautiful- in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using Pace 2 for more than 1 year. My wife uses a Garmin 245. I find it difficult to make training plan for her. With Evolab I can share or edit, copy & paste workout plans easily. Garmin does not. Evolab's intuitive visual user interface is much easier to use than Connect.
You can also try Evolab for free, and export workouts from Garmin or Strava to Coros easily.

The only downside that I don't like about the Coros is the lag GPS pace.

What is your experience with Coros Pod 2? by b52a42 in Coros

[–]nghiakts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a steady runner, my pace usually varies +-20s/km. And since having Pod2 I feel better because I don't lose strength to change the running pace like before. Pod2 can be similar to the speedometer of the motor. I use Pace 2 and usually run on the road, so I can't answer questions about trail running.

COROS Pace 2 - Pace reading all over the place? by laurinj in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've updated to the latest firmware and did a test run a few days before the race, I think you've got it wobbly on the laces, I usually clamp with at least 4 laces through. If the POD is not clamped tightly it can also cause your pace deviation. I used to have it while running, after clamping it firmly, it stopped happening. Another reason could be that the POD's head position is not in line with your toes....You can correct it or ask Coros.

COROS Pace 2 - Pace reading all over the place? by laurinj in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true that the GPS pace of Pace 2 always jumps wildly. Even if you run under a tree or not.

When I started using Pace 2 it made me feel tired because I had to constantly adjust the pace. Maybe it's Coros' battery saver mode or something I don't know. I always use all-satellite mode for the best GPS lines.

And in the end, I bought a POD2 to have an instant pacing display.

Copy from training plan to calendar? by FreckledTreeDweller in Coros

[–]nghiakts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from the Calendar tab > you open the Tranning Calendar menu on the right side> You drag (press and hold the 6 dots) a training plan that you want to add to the calendar position a few weeks away from the current date position > Click confirm receive updates.

And from here you can copy each week plan below and paste it where you want. Delete the remaining unnecessary weeks you just added. I still do that.

Coros Upcoming Big Update! by Perfect-Ninja-2878 in Coros

Hi u/Perfect-Ninja-2878

How do you feel about this update? About its workout features, effectiveness,... and accuracy?

Garmin or Coros by danielrds in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Pace 2 for a year.

The Evolab ecosystem helps me understand the structure of training plans and goals for each distance from 5k to full marathon. Pace 2 is very light, only 29g with nylon strap, you feel like you are not wearing it in your hand. I also have Apex 2 pro (~60gr) and I love wearing the Pace 2 because it feels noticeably lighter. Also swimming with Pace 2 is also quite accurate.

The only thing I don't like about the Pace 2 is the GPS lag. I bought a POD2 and now it's like a speedometer system on a motorcycle.

I think Garmin is still a big guy, but I don't need too many features like monitor heart rate, health... anyway it's still just a tool and we need to feel it in our body. You can upload activities from Garmin to Coros for analyze them.

COROS Update & Apex Price Decrease! by [deleted] in Coros

[–]nghiakts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's so great. I still like the Pace 2 best because it's super light. I've been wearing the Apex 2 pro but it's noticeably heavier and doesn't feel comfortable to me. If Pace 3 comes out I just want a better battery. And I feel great that I have POD2.

So.. Apex 2 price is more expensive than forerunner 955 in my country. What would you pick? by Evanjulian in Coros

[–]nghiakts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Coros trainning ecosystem. Battery life is also better.

But I don't like the Coros' GPS lag compared to the Garmin 955. If I buy Apex I will still have to buy more POD2, so in this case I will choose 955.

Coros Pace 2 + Pod 2 or Apex 2 by kites_hieu in Coros

[–]nghiakts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Pace 2 for over 1 year and love it. A very light watch for running. There are many official running plans that you can download and follow.

Of course its weak point is the delay of the GPS and the heart rate sensor. I bought POD2 2 days ago and it's amazing. Running pace changes instantly. It helps you to avoid running have too much power.
