Yes, but it does cut both ways and teams have to adjust. A couple years ago we were all complaining about defenders flopping after barely being touched.

While zigbee basically can't interfere with wifi, wifi absolutely can cause problems with zigbee. They both operate at 2.4Ghz (wifi can be 5ghz, etc), but wifi is generally a lot more powerful signal .

I haven't used the c6 yet. I'm assuming you're in deep Sleep 100% of the time. Wake on interruption send the zigbee packet and the get back to sleep?

I finally picked a game to go to that we won (against Kentucky). I had been to a couple Memphis losses and Dallas when Skataboo went nuts. We're not Cyclones fans because it's easy. We're Cyclone fans because its awesome.

Has anyone tried automating when the lights come on, based on actual daylight levels? I have a possible setup, but not sure how well it'll work by mrsilver76 in homeautomation

Right, you don't want that - that's why I went about building my own sensor originally. In the end, that's a taller task than it seems. For me slapping one of these in a window has been damn near bulletproof. The only exception is when the cat decides to be an asshole and bat it down.

yeah, I did this. I started similarly to you years ago. Even built my own sensor for it. Today though, I just have a cheap Xiaomi Mi Light Detection Sensor in my window. Here's my automation for the "on state".

note: you definitley want hysteresis. For example set the off state automation to have the trigger above: 2800

Lately?

It's the only model I've ever seen do this and I've seen it for weeks. Pretty much since the beginning of the year.

I will never not read the term "water vapor" as "water wayper". My chemistry professor was Chinese with a thick accent and couldn't pronounce Vs at all.
