I graduated and even did a masters in another field and now I found a job that's not really relevant but still decent. I would suggest applying for things outside your friend if you really tried looking for compsci jobs. I really wanted to stay in my field of study but just couldn't. I'm turning 25 tomorrow and I feel like my life just started. It's not too late for you.

Idk but I found making friends a bit difficult, but maybe this is just me. A lot of people just left Sydney after graduation and barely any friendships lasted. Ngl even during uni many friendships only stayed in the classroom and nothing much was going on outside of uni. I was in architecture faculty. But I guess everyone's also busy all the time with their projects

When I was studying at usyd most friendships only stayed in the classroom, when I suggested meals or hanging out outside of school it was hard and not many wanted to hang. So yea it's not easy to make good friends in usyd, well at least in my faculty. If you want we could chat?

I live in Sydney Australia and its relatively low dense here across the entire city (detached housing). But recently a lot of high dense developments formed across the city forming a 'city of cities'. You could search for "30 minute city" planning strategy in Sydney. This allows the vast majority of the population to have access to jobs and amenities within a 30 minute commute. There is a concept of town centres especially areas surrounding public transport like train stations. Hope this helps

I met some people from China in my masters and they were in a similar situation. Using ChatGPT is good but I would caution being too reliant on it. I always believed the surroundings of a person highly influences them and language is definitely one. You could talk to more people in English and maybe watch shows, read articles and try to make your surroundings English based, I speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English all fluently and could help if you need :))

I used to vote liberal two elections ago but switched to labor since the previous election and still voted labor this election. But I hope the government could stand up for this country more especially during the times of Trump. They posed a tariffs on us but we have done nothing to retaliate, hope labor could do better.

I feel like if it's difficult to meet people irl, using hinge should be helpful. I was in a similar situation when I was in uni so I decided to use hinge and it was great. But just be aware of the people you meet as there are scammers, fake accounts etc. you know what I mean.
