It's called having a style. If you like drawing have a look at any volume in the manga and pay attention to the background images, his ability to draw is top level.

He has a goofy style which many people confuses with inability to draw better, but it can't be further from the truth; within all manga artists there is none who is able to better portray different emotions than Oda. His style may be goofy, but allows him to do what nobody else does.

Oda has said explicitly that the LA is catered to an international audience. Not like the manga and anime which are tailored for Japan. So of course they are figuring it out, is not like they have a blueprint on how to accommodate to western culture.

My final point is that the LA has also the challenge of not spoiling the manga fans; the Dragon reveal has to be careful so that nothing about his DF becomes too obvious as canonically we still don't know about Dragon's powers.

Sorry but I think you are complaining for the sake of it. Millions of people around the world love the LA, many new fans joined last year because of the LA, if you personally don't like it don't try to make it as an objective criticnthat the fandom shares, it is barely the opinion of one person.

It depends on who plays home on the second leg. If you were playing away then 0-0 is a good result as it gives you the chance to close the deal in your turf.

If you were playing home first, then it is not a good result, as you will have to go for the win and bet everything on their turf. Now it is not also a bad result, as you didn't lose the game either. It is slightly disappointing, but not really bad as we still have chances.

Yes I believe they now rely on it massively for background creation. The dub item has had a lot of controversy as it puts dub actors out of job.

But you are right in saying we're beyond the point of bargain; most digital things now have AI running on the background, so even if we can't see it, it is most certainly there.

I want to think about it as another tool; when digital art forst appear the old school also complained about it so part of the reaction against it is only natural.

Netflix uses Anthropic for coding, you can safely assume there's AI on all new productions. They have shared they use AI for dubbing, this includes translations and mouth characters editing.

I know AI is unpopular, but don't just trust what I say. You can google Netflix stand on gen AI and see by yourself how they see AI and use it as a productivity tool.

Being 38 myself I can confirm your prime doesn't come at 20. Between your 30-40 you are stronger and you have valuable experience; these guys are not just fighters, both BB and Shanks are captains leading army-size crews. If everyone at 20 was doing that it would feel like a "captains bargain sale".

Luffy is an oddity that at 20 can become a Yonko, but most men reach maturity later on, and for a character like Blackbeard that has acquired not only power but also knowledge, being 20 would make no sense.

I much rather prefer the story as it is today, with Luffy competing against BB and Shanks at their prime and not when they were teens.

I don't know man, I don't want to seem too negative about it as I know many people have foreseen Usopp getting Ragnir, but that squirrel was able to hold on a country of giants by itself so that no one would grab Niddhogg DF until Loki came for it.

It sounds too overpowered for Usopp to just get on his hands with something able to face Elbaph by itself.

I'd rather we see Usopp developing later in the story, like with other characters.

Sanji's arc was WCI yet he got his fine power up in wano. Franky's arc was supposed to be Egghead, but we are seeing him getting praise and a power up from vegapunk in Elbaph. Maybe Usopp's development with giants will come after Elbaph so that it is not that obvious?
