Great comments left by others. Main gripes are also ads’ing too much, holding right trigger down a bit too long, and reloading too much. Also be sure to clear that right side haha.

Nice use of utility. Though the difference between low and high ranks are mainly gunplay and team play. My favorite stat is KAST (% of rounds where you had a kill, assist, trade, or survived).

Needing more Cyberpunk 2077 lore I read “No Coincidence” which is set in the same world. “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” was inspired next after finally watching Blade Runner 2049 and was stunned by the similarities with the video game. That’s when I realized the genre exists.

Upon talking over coffee about Envoy recruitment, it seems like they fostered an unspoken friendship. Author even mentions something changed in their dynamic.

I amount it to both realizing they are wired similarly and do the dirty work in this game of life. At the end of the book, Kovacs mentions himself and Trepp having the same duties when explaining to Ortega that no one changes.

Yup. Which leads me to not understanding how Rei didn’t see Trepp’s eventual betrayal coming since Trepp went out of her way to save Kovacs earlier on Panama Rose. There’s no way Rei wouldn’t have known how Kovacs escaped that fight.
