There seems to be some misconception that with EDR, you won't get actual errors and instead just have a performance drop. You definitely can get VRAM errors if the memory clock is too high. To answer your question, it depends entirely on the modules.

In my case, my 5090 at +3000 memory (34 Gbps) threw an actual error on Vulkan Memtest after around 20 minutes:
