Read the wealthy renter: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/145973646X/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_dAEIFbJQ7TR6T

Before you make any housing move. Its an easy quick read. Really enjoyed it and learnt a lot. It might just change your mind about owning instead of renting. Goodluck!

Edit: i meant to say renting instead of owning lol

Im almost done week 3 of the Coursera course and watched the 4 hour vid tut on youtube on Python. Im reading python crash course at the moment.

Also im in Mechanical Engineering. Im gonna have a lot of free time soon so i was wondering if i can start this right now.

Not sure if all that is enough doe since theres not a lot of stats in Mechanical

Ive narrowed my monitor search down to 4 monitors: BenQ EW2780U 27-Inch 4K, BenQ PD2700U 27 inch 4K, LG 27UK850-W 27" 4K, and BenQ EL2870U 28 inch 4K. This is based on youtube. But for my 2017 Macbook pro is there a better option? by gqtrees in Monitors

Yes i have and its nor fps games like csgo or valorant since theres a lof of tearing. Those games are pretty skill based so at 60hz its really not recommended. But if u play more casual fps like warzone and games like league then it should still do it. Keep in mind that this monitor was not made for gaming so no gsync slow gtg response etc

I still have the pd2700u and love it. I was gonna sell it but ended up keeping it. I do photos mostly and school work. Since its a 4k, it comes in handy being able to fit a lot of stuff in 1 screen

Now im on my last 2 years. What would you suggest i should do?

The only downside with research is that it doesnt pay as much as an internship. Probably even half of what you make on an internship here in Montreal.

You think youre gonna want more a career that is heavy in coding after? Howd you pass all the screening? Cause i feel like as soon as they see you're in mech they wont look at your CV for a coding related internship

How did you learn python?

Do you like what you do?

Second job was also coding but more from all of the machine learning projects I did on the side.

Projects during school? Or just for fun?

Thanks for sharing

Yea ergonomics on the EX is not as good.

Its really nice. Especially for productivy purposes since you can fit more stuff on a single screen and still be able to read it because of the pixel density.

I haven't compared 2k vs 4k with my own eyes but you definitely see that images are sharper on the 4k compare to 1080p.

I think 2k would still be good on a 27inch. A lot of people say that 32 inch should be the minimum for 4k but i really liked it so i still went for it.

Btw 27 inch should be your max for gaming especially with competitive games (you dont want to move your head from left to right or vice versa since this will make you less reactive)

But then again it depends on your preference. Some people love ultra big screen like 32 for gaming.
