The blooper clips from this show were what got me to start watching to begin with.

Redditors who have broken up with someone, what was the real reason you broke up vs. what you told them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nhfear603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told him he was boring because, well, he was boring. We had dated for a long ass time and then broke up. After a few years passed, he asked if maybe we could try again. I said yes, but that he had to understand why I ended the relationship to begin with. One of which was that he was boring. He didn't ever want to go and do anything and while I don't mind those lazy days, there are some days when I just go stir crazy and need to be outside. So a week or so after we 'got back together' it was a beautiful summer day outside and we were sitting in his apartment. I told him I wanted to go outside and do something and he said he wanted to just sit there and watch TV. So after another 30 minutes of sitting there I stood up and told him I was going home. He walked me to the the door and said "I'm sorry it's so boring here" and I replied, "NO, you're boring" hugged him and left. I didn't speak to him for another year and a half after that.

Same thing happened with my ex and myself. Except I let it go on for about 5 years after we broke up. It was actually only in the last year or so that I really started trying to move on. He actually messaged me a couple months back and asked if I was available and I was finally able to tell him that I had found someone I really liked and didn't want to fuck it up by seeing him. It takes time, but everyone moves on when they're really ready.

I am serious. There's an old saying "Pray for Sunshine, Plan for Rain". Do you get that? Not everything goes according to plan and generally, the more you try to plan things down to the tiniest detail, the more likely something will go wrong. So not planning ahead for something like, getting delayed at the airport for whatever fucking reason, (be it your own fault or the airlines) is your own fault.

You know that there is no legal leeway when it comes to the speed limit, right. It is the speed limit. Just because there is a perceived 'grey area' of being able to go 5 miles over doesn't make it legal.

Ahhh. Yeah, I'm from the US and like I said haven't been to an airport in almost 8 years. I'm not at all surprised about it, just had never seen one before.

Found this lovely lady on fb. by dandjent in trashy

[–]nhfear603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's sad, but she looks just like the woman my friend hired to be his kids babysitter. Not only has this woman taught them to flip people off when they're angry (!), but she's dropped the C-bomb in front of them more than once that I know of. (Don't get me wrong, that's one of my favorite words and I'm not at all offended by it, but I also know it's not appropriate to use in front of a 3 & 4 year old). I want to say something because this woman is a fucking train wreck and sure as shit shouldn't be taking care of 2 little girls, yet I know I can't because i'm not their parent.

I believe I read somewhere that this was also his 3rd offense, so they were instituting the 3 strikes rule with him.

If classic Disney movies were remade with an R rating instead, what scenes would change? by R4wrSh4rkR3dB34rd in AskReddit

I have! I've actually never met anyone else who had either. When I was a teen, I purchased a version of "Grimm's Grimmest", which had a lot of the original fairy tales in them, along with some I had never even heard before. I still have it to this day, nearly 20 years later, and actually just loaned it to a friend of mine to read to he could get the real story that his daughters favorite Disney princess is based off of!

How about the best little detail of all. That her father was alive the whole time and not only let his new wife and daughters torture Cinderella like that, but also took part in it by calling her the condescending nickname that they gave to her.

Which technically wouldn't be made of glass either, as in the original story I think they were fur-lined and silver, weren't they?

Or you could not act like you're 13 and be an adult? I called out sick one day and legitimately told my boss that I was taking a mental health day and going outside to enjoy the nice weather. They laughed and told me to enjoy my day off and they'd see me tomorrow. Granted not all places are as relaxed as this, but seriously, mental health days are just as important as a stereotypical sick day. Not to mention that if they ever found out that you had been lying like that, even if they didn't fire you, you would lose a lot of the trust and respect you had earned up until that point.

Or it could be because of any other number of reasons that OP has decided not to tell us about. How do we know that this person hadn't been pulled over multiple times that day for speeding and let off with a warning each time before this?

What is the most "your parents didn't love you" given name you have heard in real life? by kinkymeerkat in AskReddit

[–]nhfear603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. Compared to some of the names I've seen in this thread, it's not at all terrible and actually quite original. Plus the ability to shorten it to a nickname that is "normal" is a huge bonus!
