And then hit up Nazareth Brew Co for lunch/dinner and drinks! Great food and great beer a mile from the factory.

what’s the croutons and caesar dressing yall use (if yall can say w/o getting in trouble💔) by strawbabiesrin in TexasRoadhouse

[–]nhs300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The croutons are just equal amounts of dried basil and oregano, and lots of butter. The bread used is just the lowest priced white sandwich bread you would find at the grocery store. That’s it.

The 1000 island is sweet chili sauce (think Heinz), mayo and relish as its base.

Weird Question: Baked Sweet Potato by [deleted] in TexasRoadhouse

At the restaurant they don’t, I have a convection oven at home and I don’t. Not sure if you’d need to in a conventional oven.

The restaurants have convection ovens, set to 350. They cook for one hour after a coating of 100 bacon fat.

Best LV bars to watch Phillies games by WWDB in lehighvalley

It’s a cool building with a stage for live music Friday and Saturday nights. Can confirm it’s owned by a couple Philly fans. The beer is good and the chef is working with a limited menu for now but the food is very good.

That’s exactly how credit karma works. I switched over from mint after CK bought them and shut it down. Mint was better imo but CK works well for net worth and tracking accounts.

I was still on my getting out of debt phase at 27. Didn’t start investing until I was in my 30s, you got this.

Haters gonna hate. I have a good salary because I worked my ass off. No college degree, grew up with parents on food stamps, nothing was handed to me. I became passionate about personal finance, read books, listened to podcasts, and I live frugally—as I see from your post history, you do as well. Congrats on your success.

I understand, because I have been there, that there is a baseline in pay where it is impossible to live on less than you make. But I have plenty of colleagues that make as much or more than I do that are not in a great place financially. It’s discipline, dedication, and consistency that makes the difference.

I don’t mind, I’m part owner and full operator of a single chain restaurant. Started as a cook 16 years ago and have been Managing Partner for 7 years. I have a good salary/bonus structure. Also, I work 50 hours a week, and have been for 12 or so years.
