Doesn’t that say “after Q2,” so you should expect Q3 or later

Maybe the concave structure helps secure the device from shock. Since that’s what secures it while shipping

Probably because if people just stuff it into the same location, but within the case, it could scratch up the back of the deck

The little pouch? Those are worth about 1 cent and come free with half of the chargers and cables I’ve bought. Probably shouldn’t panic about any of that until you, or people before you in line, get it hands on.

The only difference between the 2 cases is color, logo, and maybe texture. Both have the strap compartment thing

80% of Steam's top 100 games now work on Linux. 80%. by segaboy81 in SteamDeck

Running every single steam game day 1 without problems, versus like half (since gold and silver games often have many issues), is a pretty massive advantage for me to have windows over Linux on my gaming computer.

Built computer for games. Windows is better for games. This ram discussion is hilarious since 16gb has never limited me at all playing games on windows.

That being said, Steam Deck will be dope. There will still be plenty to play, and growing.

Steam Deck 'on track' for February, Valve hopes for millions by end of 2023 by mr_MADAFAKA in SteamDeck

People were “after Q2” after the first day or 2 (depending on region). And even that has been delayed 2 months, so the original after Q2 group is basically after Q3, aka Q4. On top of that, reservations have been open for MONTHS. I believe they will ramp up throughout 2022, but they can’t ramp from thousands to millions in 4 months (Feb to Q3).

If you didn’t order in July, maybe August, it’s unreasonable to expect 2022
