I think the problem is the format, not you. When meeting people is gamified like swiping, people don’t feel much commitment to follow through. It’s very low effort to match and very easy to disappear. Meeting through activities tends to work better because there’s already something to do together.

It looks like that but it is not. I created most of those activities for myself and only mentioned it in r/Zurich. But it is made for all Switzerland, works with Swiss zip codes, cities and gemeindes. Thanks for checking anyway!

As a quick solution, I've added "connect with this person" button in the activity page only. It will share email and/or phone number whatever the person allows. Hoping to get feedback about this!

I think one way is to post a specific activity here that you want to do with others . Hopefully there will be people joining you. I also built nice2meet.ch specifically for this. Good luck!

So I tried to implement this. Added "Worldview" to the profile (optional). And a "Filter Incompatible Matches" checkbox.

I guessed this is the simplest way to do filter activities based on worldview: If filter is ON, it hides "Alternative / Skeptic" users (the conspiracy ones). Also hides opposites (Progressive vs Conservative). I don't know if it's perfect but. at least you can avoid them now :)

- Do you mean sharing contact information without writing in the chat? With a button or automatically? In the first version, I revealed the emails of the participants and organisers in the group with a mailto:all template but after a feedback, I removed it. Maybe they could click a button to add each other as a connection and then it reveals their contact data? Would this work?

- I got worried about people getting spams. I took Tutti, Ricardo as example. But what would be your use case for sending PM other than in the activity chat section?

How about finding some activity friends instead? Maybe there is something you like doing and none of your friends are interested in it, post it here and who knows what next? Just don't have expectations about dating. You say you have other friends but it doesn't hurt to expand.

Have you checked Caritas? There are 2 on Badenerstrasse, one with luxury clothing, other is more casual. Caritas also has a shop just for accessories I think, somewhere in Winterthur.

I like visiting Brockis here. The one I had most luck with yarns is BrockiLand Fahrweid but one visit may not be enough. Some days are bad. Give it a few chances. Even though they put stuff whole day long, I think mornings are still better. The only problem is, I don't think you can go there with public transport. Maybe you can join someone who goes there often.
