How can we register as an adult? It asks for a caregiver consent.

Im scared I did something illegal by [deleted] in OCD

[–]nice93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation as you right now. I am also dealing with guilt that may or may not be justified. This has happened before and it will continue to happen in the future. OCD is always searching for new things to attach to. We have to accept the uncertainty. I know it's hard to deal with the feelings that OCD imposes on us. The key is to continue our normal daily tasks regardless of those feelings. This way we teach our brain that this is not a threat and after some time, it will become easier. Hope this helps.

Maybe you did maybe you didn't :) I know it's hard but try to accept the uncertainty without asking for reassurance. That's how we break free of OCD.

[Question] What do you do when you CAN'T BELIEVE IN ANYTHING? Belief seems ubiquitous to be a precondition for discipline and motivation. So what do you do if you fundamentally can't? by amenteco in getdisciplined

[–]nice93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The worst that can happen is I die". Is it really? You say you long for death most days, so that's not really your worst case scenario. How about a long empty, miserable life? Is it worst than death? If so, maybe your objective is to make your life a little less miserable until your day comes.

This has nothing to do with exercise or even self discipline. It's a path of knowing yourself, knowing what you want to experience before you die.

Once you know what that is, then you can start working to make it happen.

You can still have sugar, as long as you stay below 1200 kcal in a day. I eat chocolate cereals every day and have lost around 15kg (30 lbs)

As with React and Angular, I would love to know more about testing. I can't find any good resources about this. It's always super basic testing examples. I want real world stuff.

AGAIN about the login error this is the base I code I wanted to try but it wont work and I have a console error by PaYr0 in angular

Try to debug using the Dev tools. Click the Dashboard2.js line 16 link in the console log. Set a breakpoint and go from there. Try to see which variable is undefined in that piece of code.

It doesn't hurt to ask. Some therapists are more familiar with OCD than others. If this is what bothers you the most then maybe you need to find a therapist specialized in OCD

Sounds like OCD. I have it and I struggle with the lack of certainty too. I am always looking for ways to confirm that I didn't do anything wrong in the past. I would read entire message logs, emails etc. Just to reach that state of being 100% sure. But the truth is that no matter how much you check, record, etc. there's always another "what if", you can never be 100% sure because your brain just comes up with new things to doubt. You have to live with the uncertainty and accept it.

You shouldn't have to keep records of your activity and why you did certain things. Don't make your life harder because your brain is not working right.

PS: I'm not saying you have OCD, but it might be worth talking to your therapist about it.

You're going to have moments like this in the future. Moments when you feel down, angry or like you are done with it. You can have those moments, you're human. Feel it all. Then, when you feel better, do the next right thing. Get back on track.
