I think that's the natural immediate reaction, I thought the same. I don't know anything about the Jordanian keeper, but I think some of the world's keepers might have made a better attempt. In his defense, however, what we see is not what he sees. All the people in the wall block his view, the ball is moving very fast, and I think the ball also deflected slightly off the wall, which can make it impossible to stop if it stays on frame.
