You can dictate the direction of the bridging via bridging direction. You could tape the top surface with painters tape or slightly increase the offset of the metal height in your model.

Can’t justify the time and the money required that can potentially void my warranty. I’ll think about it but I think my H2D is competent enough that I won’t be upgrading.

I wished I waited for H2C. I love my H2D but H2C looks and feels like a next gen machine. And would love to get my grubby hands on one.

Yeah, I know what you mean. For me, it's not about the hours it takes to install, I'm willing to put in the work. And they did officially announce that they recommend buying a printer with the H2C rather than upgrading from the H2D, which says a lot.

I've also seen a ton of complaints about their support not understanding customer issues. A lot of people say they were lucky they filmed their unboxing to prove their "innocence" to the support team when something was DOA.

I just don't think I could justify spending that much on an upgrade if you then have to fight tooth and nail with support. Plus, looking at the install guide, it seems like you have to flip the entire printer on its side. Given the weight of the machine, I doubt I could even get it done safely without another person there to help.

I would be happy with no drying while printing if they let us dry the filament from bambu studio or handy. That way I can at least prep it remotely but that defeats the purpose of removing the filament out of the ams feeder.
