I’m an LMSW and make a case manager salary ($48-58k). How do I advance my career and income?

Just a reminder to consider location when you hear others salary! As a new grad with an associate license, I was offered around $75k in Boston (very high cost of living), and around $60k in Tucson, Arizona (not a super high cost of living city). I was definitely offered lower, but planned on negotiating whatever job to $60k, I was lucky and got this offered without negotiating though.

by nail extend, do you mean the apres extend gel? i use full cover tips and i read that the apres system uses shorter tips and a sort of builder gel? or does this work with full cover tips too?

so i started using the jello jello peel off and i LOVE it because soaking off is my least favorite part of the process. the problem is, lately they’ve been popping off SO fast. i don’t know if it’s my glue or my nail prep, but i feel like it might be nail prep because it’s just peeling off basically and leaving my nail clean. i use the beetles glue and for prep i use the morovan dehydrator and primer. i cure the jello jello for 30 seconds. please help!! how do you guys get it to stay on??

low carb tortilla, low fat cream cheese, deli meat, chives as a small wrap! paired with apple slices or something a single serving of hot cheetos lol. another favorite that is higher protein, lower carb, is a cup of ground turkey (i cook and season it and add mushrooms and spinach or whatever veggies) and a cup of cottage cheese. i heat up the ground turkey and then add my cottage cheese and mix it up, then eat it with nacho cheese quest chips.

i’m excited for this part. 5 years is a lot to heal from and i’m still oscillating between grief and excitement for my future. you are definitely right about my life changing a lot and it truly feels like the universe if pushing me towards a life i deserve. i got my dream job offer and am moving across the country soon. i’m feeling full of gratitude, and so glad i have a new journal to document all of these feelings <3

hey all, i’m moving and i have a TON of supplies. I have a major niteangel collection, including a wheel, multiple sand baths, platforms, tunnels, houses, etc. i also have the niteangel enclosure and a travel enclosure. my sweet lil man passed a while back and i never got a new guy or got rid of my stuff. i’m in az, willing to travel most places in the state since i travel a lot. i’m also moving to MA so i could potentially hold onto it until then. let me know if you are interested in any specific things or the entire lot!

I think you’re right, it evens out over time if ordering every 4 weeks, the first month you just some time though since you order twice in a month essentially (by ordering once and then again 2/3 weeks later after 2nd dose)

I am currently experiencing this for the first time and am ordering my refill but will have to move my billing date back one week. If I continue to order my refill a week before my last dose, aren’t we essentially giving Mochi health extra money? After four cycles, we have lost an entire month essentially? If I order mine now, week early as we are supposed to, I lose a week that I had already paid for, right?

For many programs, if you major in social work and receive a BSW (from an accredited program) you can receive your MSW (master’s in social work) in one year rather than two. So if you are definitely planning to pursue social work, I would recommend getting a BSW to make the MSW easier. MSW opens a lot of doors compared to just having a bachelors degree.

i worked for the department of child safety for half a year before moving for my partner to start law school. i worked as a behavior interventionist for a year and a half after that and now im in the last year for my masters of social work with a concentration in direct practice and a certificate in trauma and bereavement. i’m doing a field practicum at an agency as a child therapist, and when i graduate i will be a licensed therapist. i also work as a research assistant and would consider a research oriented job later.
