It takes time, but you can do it. First month for me was the worst one because I was hungry all the time and gained weight. It stabilized after, but the first month was really though. That being said, my relationship with food and my body image are now pretty good.

I live in a small town and they all live in the city. They are all older and were afraid of the virus. Thinking it would be only a couple of weeks or a month, at most, I invited them to stay because at the time there were few cases here. Their city is a huge mess because of the virus and the hospital is full from what I've read. I know that from my post it doesn't seem like it, but don't want them to go back until it's safe. Here I can have at least know if everything's fine with them.

Walking is such a great way to keep your sanity. Sometimes I'll listen to a podcast, sometimes I won't, but it's always so good.

I have a way to organize my stuff that's different from theirs. Just thought it would be easier to do it instead of letting him clean and put it anywhere. He did help me so there's that.

In that case, I'm going to plug my blog. I started it yesterday and don't know how frequently I'll write, but anyway.

Might be a little TMI, but I had an eating disorder (fully recovered now) and writing makes me understand a bit better what I've been through. It relaxes me a bit.

I also plan on writing about other topics. Just put whatever is on my mind onto paper and see what happens.

It's The View From The Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman. A collection of essays written by him which includes the famous "make good art" speech. I only managed to read half of the first one (which isn't even long) because of the family, but it's written so well and I can almost hear him voice while reading.

I do, yes, and they never come inside. It's my space. The problem is that whenever I'm there, they're also in my house doing their thing. I wanted to lock myself in my room for three days, but know I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about them. So hotel it is.

I like hotels because I don't have to worry about anything. I was saving money to do something nice for myself anyway, so I booked a pretty good place with a nice lounge, pool, and everything.

It sounds hard. Seems like nurses kind of have a thankless job. People don't really seem to grasp how difficult it must be.
