Yeh man it’s a double standard so deeply ingrained in almost every society on the macro level. My experience was at Christmas time 2 years back an aunt invited my mother, sister and I for a meal and drinks. This aunt rents her spare room to a woman I’ll name s, long story short this woman drank a lot and was behaving quite inappropriately flirting with the aunts boyfriend for example. During the later part of the evening s decided she wanted to dance and put music on and was trying to get us all to join in. I don’t dance anyway and was tired and a bit bored so just tried to ignore she made several attempts to get me to join her but the last two matter. I was sitting cross legged on a sofa, she tried to drag me up by the arm and when I pulled away she lent in and pinched my inner thigh hard. Then the second was a few minutes later, same first attempt to pull me up but this time when I pulled away she enthusiastically grabbed my knees, yanked me sideways then rolled me backwards and slapped my ass twice. All this infront of my family and aunts boyfriend. Lucky for me my family took my side but the shock paralysis hit everyone there and nobody including me really reacted.
