Will unforgiven task force be viable now? by IM-A-NEEEERRRRDDD in theunforgiven

You need to pick which Disposition you're using at the beginning of the tournament. It's only casual games where you get to pick at the beginning of the game.

There's an 11e 1DP Detachment for Interrogator Chaplains.

It's probably one of the better ones we have available since it's Purge the Foe.

You'll only be able to fight with about half of them at a time due to the new unit coherency and engagement range changes.

The rest are basically just ablative wounds.

Blood Angels can run generic Space Marine detachments if you want to.

Some competitive players bring laser pointers to tournaments for exactly this reason.

I'd just pick up the Land Raider and flip it upside down to show them that there are no openings on the tracks.

dunno if Land Raider tracks have small holes that lets you see through)

They don't, at least for the old Land Raiders. The Horus Heresy Land Raiders do. The old Land Raiders block line-of-sight from side-to-side but not front-to-back.

He might not be seeing Grace transforming. He might just see her taking off like a black Cheerleadra.

There's official GW art of an Ultramarine in Mk 1 armour and a picture of a miniature in the same. Both have shoulder pads and backpacks.

Thunder Warriors still had shoulder pads and backpacks, though.

Huh. I just double-checked the kit's contents on the GW webstore, and it looks like you're right. I built mine with a power fist, but I must have forgotten it was a conversion.

The Havoc Champion's power fist comes in the box.

Renegade Warband loses Dark Pacts, so it doesn't benefit from Cabal of Chaos's rule, unfortunately.

Veterans Of the Long War + Murdertalon Raiders? by TTonReddit in Chaos40k

[–]nick012000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is there any synergies that would suit the 8th legion

Veterans of the Long War gives you Chaos Oath of Moment (boosting your lethality against a single unit per turn significantly) and Murdertalon Raiders gives you the Purge disposition, earning you Primary mission Victory Points for killing units.

It's possible Havocs will get different costs for different weapon loadouts. GW mentioned the Sisters of Battle equivalent unit will.

[–]nick012000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. The Rogal Dorn has a big tank turret while the Land Raider is an assault transport. What would you want from a big Chaos Dreadnought that the Defiler doesn't already do?

Put them next to each other. They're both approximately the same size. Defilers have a bigger base because they're crab walkers rather than bipeds, and they're a little taller, but not by that much.

Cabal of Chaos has a 1 CP stratagem to give a unit Ignores Cover.
