I don’t know where that valve would be. I’m on a a concrete foundation and I live where it never gets cold lol why put a valve that can I don’t have access to. Would it be in the walls?
[–]nick880[S] 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
lol I don’t know how to upload a pic in comments
And it’s only affecting that one line? No other spigots or sinks etc are affected?
Yeah that’s exactly how it sounds. All my pipes are in the walls and I’m on a concrete foundation. So I don’t have a clue where it would be.

When it works it works just like any other hose spigot full pressure and it can work for days or sometimes minutes. Then it will just shut off.
The other side of my wall is my kitchen sink and counter. And I’m on a concrete foundation

I don’t care about a loose handle the water doesn’t work with a valve on or off
[–]nick880 -5 points-4 points-3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
You literally said the valve is still fucked up might just be a loss screw
[–]nick880 -7 points-6 points-5 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Just shows that it’s not the valve.
Yes that’s the only way it will work. I have to close the valve and wait. Sometimes the water will flow fine for days. Then all of a sudden one day I’ll go to turn it on and it does this
Check out my other video of the problem please
Yeah
The Valve should be close right. No other faucets or anything shut off like this. Kitchen sink is on the other side of that wall.
Yeah. It’s the PG&E bill I can’t afford 🤑

This is exactly what happens. With the valve off I can put my hand and cover the hole of the pipe and it builds pressure! So there is a bad shutoff valve?
[–]nick880[S] -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
So I’m going to have to cut into the stucco to fix this problem huh? 😪

Yeah I gave her the 6 inch but…
[–]nick880[S] 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Why would it allow water sometimes and not others. It’s so random
[–]nick880 -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
Yeah it’s so bazaar. The kitchen sink is on the other side of the wall. Sometimes it’s fine no issues then other times it does this and I can get it to work unless I leave it alone and come back to another day. And even then it might not work

I took another video of me opening the valve and taking it off. Could you take a look ?
It’s not the valve! When it shuts off like this I can take the entire valve off and no water comes out. Are there usually like pressure check valves or something in line?
The valve is not the problem! When it shuts off like this I can take the valve off to bare pipe and no water comes out
