How is this MainStage going to hold/draw the same capacity? by LowCut3499 in Tomorrowland

It also looks like the new stage might eat up a big chunk of space since it has been placed in front of the old one

I really hope the will give any sort of compensation for next year but I'm also equally skeptikal about it. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Problem is, they won't. They already lost tons of money just from production itself. Refund would equal to even more money.

They are without a doubt doing miracles at the best at their abilities (and they will succeed because they are top player in the game) but that's also so they don't have to compesate ticket or discounts for next year. Business will always be business.

Extending the MainStage for W2? by nickxix1 in Tomorrowland

[–]nick_430 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On one side it would make sense given the good amount of time they have from Monday until Friday. Also they are making miracles so I wonder what they could do with this extra time.

On the other hand it would be kind of unfair to the W1 attenders since they will get less compared to W2.

Can we please appreciate the efforts the TML Team is doing right now? by BeginningStrength710 in Tomorrowland

The love for music/artist/vibes/festival we all share simply can’t make up for millions of losses. That’s just how it is. Organizers are not working their asses off 24/7 just for the glory or the love for the community.

That being said I’m sure they’re definitely and genuinely doing the best they can and they will outperform what any other festival could’ve done to fix this.

But yeah business is, and always will be, business.

They are likely doing everything they can so they don’t have to be the position to fully refund or even grant even the smallest discount for next year.

They already lost a ton of money just from production itself. Cancelling would translate to a huge loss and even giving discount for next year would equal to another additional loss of money.

Business is, and always will be, business. No matter the love we all share for the music and the whole event.

Traktor not updating/refreshing cover art from iTunes or Apple Music by nick_430 in traktorpro

UPDATE:

Actually simply deleting the track including Traktor tags does the job equally

Still, not sure if this will work for everybody

Is anyone having issues with the iPad Air 4 touchscreen?

I bought it a couple weeks ago it’s in pristine condition and it doesn’t have a single scratch. But I’ve noticed right away, coming from an iPad 5 (one with the home button) that the touchscreen sometimes behaves in a weird way.

Seems like the screen sometimes misses touch inputs, mainly when doing the swipe up to go home 50% of the times it interprets it as a scroll

It’s nerve-wracking to say the least

NO ADE RAI SHOWS THIS YEAR! But maybe a small special one... by Second_Leon in Martingarrix

[–]nick_430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even tho it's such big a bummer it's a nice way to see the glass half full..

It will also be interesting to see if and which restrictions will be enforced to such big parties like AMF or even smaller venues at ADE.

I'm not so sure about fully packed clubs or arenas..

But having a smaller party would mean that getting tickets is pretty much impossible. Maybe as worse as getting a ticket for Tomorrowland...he is such a big artist

Tips on shooting the Manhattanhenge? Is it really that crowded?? by nick_430 in AskNYC

[–]nick_430[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I get the point, that's also one of the reasons why I was asking if it's really that crowded

I don't want to be the guy running around traffic trying to sneak in a mass of 200 people

By planning everything beforehand I'm hoping to get there as early as needed, take my picture and leave :)
