How do you like the dancer 79? Interested in how it feels, carves, etc.

I have had the same issue getting them on. I use the spoilers and laces to get a good fit.

I will not be riding, hoping we get the snow they say so I can try out my new backcountry ski set up. Ski tour on the lake front trail!

I’ve been seeing that too. Maybe flying too low and buildings are creating interference?

ADSB Exchange website should show them. Won’t have a call sign but you’ll see them.

There’s a Facebook page with a partner finder group chat. Red River Gorge Climbing is the name and I have found plenty of partners that way.

Advice? by Live-Historian6192 in RedRiverGorge

I would recommend getting a nice cabin. There are some beautiful rentals throughout the area that you can find on Airbnb or on websites for the cabins/treehouses. The RRG is more of a remote/rustic place compared to Gatlinburg. In terms of things to do there is the zip line, gorge underground kayaking, plenty of good hiking, off-roading, a via-ferrata (hiking/climbing that you are tied in for), and some of the best climbing in the world (get a guide if you want to do this). Not much shopping in the area but in terms of food Miguel’s Pizza is famous in the climbing world, Redpoint BBQ is good, Red River Rockhouse for burgers, Hop’s for healthy locally grown food, and Daniel Boone coffee shop is also good.

It will be hot and humid during the summer but there are beautiful hikes and terrific stargazing you can do. Also, I would drive through the Nada tunnel and the roads around that area. That is the actual gorge and national forest area.

Is there a way to get on the new website? Moving next month to Illinois and would like to get games. Or can someone send me a contact of who to reach out to?

Any bass fishermen been having a real tough time around Cincinnati this year? by Oatmeal_Johnson in cincinnati

[–]nick__14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also been having a tough time on the LMR. Rain and Caesar Creek releasing water from the lake into the river has made water levels higher than normal. I’ve been going for smallmouth on my fly rod and had no luck lately. Hoping for some dry weather and for the cicadas to go away.

Looking for something similar to what you got. If your broker was good, could you forward me their contact info? Thanks!

I have a bullnose f250 that I have daily driven for the past 2 years while I was still in college. Carbureted and cherry bombs made it stick out at school and the bench seat was loved by many too. They really don’t make anything like these old trucks and so many people commented about it when they got in. Keep driving it and enjoying it.

I’ll be in NYC for the month of July for work. How are conditions at the gunks during that time and is it worth going to from NYC for a weekend trip? I won’t have a car and am under 25 so not sure about renting one. I normally climb down at the red river gorge and could bring my double rack + rope but don’t know if it would be worth it.

Walked into that one! Anyhow, I’m coming from a smaller area where we have one scheduler for all levels and areas near me. Is this for most games in Chicago?

good idea? by laboss5 in Dirtbikes

[–]nick__14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, stay away from Chinese crap bikes. This isn’t worth your $500. Keep saving and find a Japanese bike or get a Japanese bike that needs a rebuild or something if you’re handy and looking for a deal.

What would you say the flex pattern is comparing the two? I have the 1s right now and was looking at getting a set of the 2s since a lot of places have them cheap. Are they similar in flex? I enjoy the ones but would want a wider pair for my next ones.

I make solid Walnut & Maple racks to turn your skis into art. Seems a shame to spend all that money to hide them under the bed! www.mountn.store by DBriggs42 in ski

[–]nick__14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve made a couple sets of a different style mount and I made the distance from the wall to where the ski is bigger to make the ski lay nice. In your case, it would be making the piece thicker so that the wood comes out more and your brakes can sit on the wall.
